Artist Statement
Being silly and making silly art is what I love most. I like bringing a fun, lighthearted approach to topics that most find boring, serious, or uncomfortable. It’s a way to ease and entice people into thinking about topics they would rather ignore. I am attracted to bright colors alongside intense, intricate patterns and textures. My goal is to overstimulate the eye. I think it’s fun to make myself and others’ eyes hurt. Ultimately, I believe in having a good time.
